Congratulations to Chief Hand! The members of the Narberth Fire Company would like to thank you for your service. We wish you luck on all your new endeavors. Thank youFair winds and following seas to one of the best at Lower Merion Township. Frank Hand was hired as Deputy Fire Marshal in November of 2007, but as of Monday will be the new chief of the Borough of Pottstown Fire Department. We're sad to see him go, but happy for him and his family and wish him well in his new position! ... Frank's work involved enforcement of all local fire safety regulations and developing and implementing Fire Department training programs. Some of his duties included inspecting buildings, investigating origins of fire, reviewing development and construction plans, and administering safety codes. Frank also became known to many Township parents after helping them to properly install baby car seats. He was also a longtime member of the Gladwyne Volunteer Fire Company. It is with great sadness that the Narberth Fire Company has to say goodbye to one of our longest serving members- George A. Constantine.
George was a member for over 50 years and he served Narberth and Lower Merion with honor and distinction.
The Narberth Fire Company sends heartfelt condolences to George's wife Betty, his children George Jr., BettyAnn, John, Chuck, Barbara and Dave Constantine (who is a Lieutenant with Narberth Fire Company).
